What industry do you come from (previous from Brilliant Muse)?
Prior to working for Brilliant Muse, I was in Nonprofit Communications for nearly 8 years. During that time, I wore many hats in the areas of External and Internal Communications, Event Planning, Marketing, Graphic Design & Layout, Brand Management, and Social Media Management.
What attracted you to Brilliant Muse? Why did you choose Brilliant Muse?
One reason was definitely the remote work. Having a flexible work schedule and not needing to commute does wonders for my quality of life, work-life balance, and mental health.
What is your favorite quote?
“Inch by inch, life’s a cinch. Yard by yard, life is hard.”
What do you like to do outside of work?
I really enjoy staying active by lifting weights, playing volleyball, learning KPOP choreography, doing yoga, doing aerial acrobatics, and swimming. I know physical mobility isn’t forever, so I want to use it as much as I can before I lose it.
What would you tell someone new to consulting?
Consulting was a brand new frontier for me. Naturally, I was worried about all the things I didn’t know. However, while there’s always something new to learn in any job, I’ve found these skills I’ve polished over the years (and continue to use) have helped me succeed: organization, problem solving, communication, adaptability, efficiency, resourcefulness, not being afraid to ask questions, and being eager to learn. If you can do all of that, you can do it all!
