Account Managers at Brilliant Muse

This client-facing role is critical to the success of the Brilliant Muse team and the overall business. With a hyper focus on relationships, you will be responsible for optimizing the account management program, building strong connections with team members and clients, identifying opportunities for impact, plus upholding Brilliant Muse’s commitment to quality.


There are numerous key initiatives where your skills as a project manager will be showcased, as you scope new engagements, track and measure alignment to objectives, and communicate key results to stakeholders.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Account Management: Build strong relationships with clients and team members so that we’re creating a positive, enjoyable experience, and making a difference

  • Ensure projects are on track, in scope, aligned to objectives, and exceeding expectations

  • Report impact on a quarterly basis and infuse with insights & recommendations

Project Management: Partner with client to scope and manage a portfolio of projects that align to objectives so that there is velocity, visibility, and impact

  • Create project plans that inform a seamless execution: objective, scope, timelines, tasks, risks, dependencies, and assignments

  • Implement a framework of process and best practices so that teams are working efficiently with a focus on scalability, plus consistent status updates and reporting


Quality & Success: Partner with Client Services Team to optimize the existing Account Management Program so that quality remains top priority and 100% of projects are renewed each year

  • Focus on infrastructure while implementing processes and best practices with Account Management team

  • Evolve the onboarding process for clients and new team members

  • Foster community and mentor Account Managers so that they are confident and empowered

Business Development: Partner with Client Services Team to spread the good word about Brilliant Muse and find ways to help people

  • Nurture existing clients, focusing on their challenges and identifying ways to help

  • Be a Brand Ambassador and share how we work, who we work with, and most importantly, why we do what we do

  • Provide strategic ideas to broaden reach to meet business goals


Talent & Team Building: Develop a diverse team of talented resources, that align to the Brilliant Muse culture and client, partnering with the People Team and Account Managers.

  • Bring your connection prowess and participate in the interview and selection process

  • Passionate about connecting hearts and smarts, able to exploit key strengths and skills so that people are thriving


Impact Reporting: Continue to wow our clients and celebrate success by measuring KPIs and showing true alignment to goals.

  • Inspire reporting and data visualization so that clients can use info to make decisions

  • Partner with the Account Management team to optimize the Program and leverage content for case study development

  • Drive disciplined yet creative communications approach to infuse our brand and voice while promoting our value


Services Delivery: Partner with the Client Services Lead to define new services and optimize existing, based on evolving requirements from client teams, so that we’re continuing to improve and innovate.

  • Elevate the business through competitive analysis and trends

  • Develop launch process, create assets, execute launch

Skills and Qualifications

  • Agency experience with direct client management

  • Confident working with all levels of an organization with impressive presentation skills

  • Strong project management acumen and passion for the craft

  • Keen understanding of KPIs, reporting, and the importance of insights

  • 5 years of experience working with enterprise-level companies

  • Natural leader who enjoys helping people succeed through connection

  • Excellent analytical, business, decision-making, and organizational skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher education

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Project Management Certified (PMP, Agile, etc.)

  • Business Development

  • Leadership & Training

  • Experience with Google Workspace
